Going to see Glass Animals with Jenny in Detroit tonight! I CANNOT WAIT.
(Update: AMAZING CONCERT. NIGHT JUST KEPT GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. We stood in a long line for over an hour (we arrived early), waited for another hour before the opener came on, I got a terrible stomachache and hip pain, two drunk b****** wormed their way up to third row (where Jenny and I were), a fight ensued and they got kicked out. Then Glass Animals came on and magic happened. After the show, Jenny and I met/took a picture with Edward! 🙂 )
Repetitive breakfasts, but that’s what happens when you buy 24 pints of blueberries less than a week ago.
Lunch on the Road:
On our way to Royal Oak to buy Beach House concert tickets before making our way to Detroit for Glass Animals!
Snack at Gayle’s Chocolates, Royal Oak, MI:
Not bad, but quite sweet. Wish the coffee flavour was more potent.
The cardamom truffle was so creamy and delicious! Strongly spiced — this is what chai teas should taste like.
Dinner at Thuy Trang Restaurant, Madison Heights, MI:
They didn’t have vegetarian options at all, so you kind of have to make your own. I just asked for steamed veggies in place of the meat that would have been in this bowl. Not terrible, but my stomach started hurting a bit halfway though (the portions are really sizable!) so that diminished my ability to enjoy this.
