Heading to Fort Lauderdale with Jenny for JENNtacular!

I haven’t slept a wink and won’t until I get to the hotel tonight.

Breakfast on the plane:

Chips — coffee

Did some work on the flight – thank you coffee!

Lunch at Myapapaya, Fort Lauderdale, FL:

Green Goddess — Morning Glory smoothies (shared both w/Jenny)

The Green Goddess is way better than the Morning Glory one, but both were amazing. Let it be known that Myapapaya is highly recommended by both me and Jenny — so if you’re ever in Fort Lauderdale, come dine here.

Jenny’s spicy tuna bowl — falafel wrap

Wasn’t a fan of the fruit salad or coleslaw, but THE FALAFEL WRAP WAS EVERYTHING I NEEDED. Myapapaya somewhat mashed their falafels, replacing texture with moisture and thus evenly distributing the flavour. Honestly best falafel wrap I’ve had in a long time.

Coffee Break at Warsaw Coffee, Fort Lauderdale, FL:

Almond milk latte — sip of Jenny’s chai latte

The chai latte lacked depth and the almond milk latter was slightly too sour (if you’ve never had an almond milk latte, sometimes the almond milk adds an extra layer of acidity to the latte). Get the regular latte.

Late Dinner from Umberto’s , Fort Lauderdale, FL:

Red wine — pineapple pizza — calamari — garlic bread — kale (shared everything w/Jenny)

We were too tired to go out for dinner so we had the ultimate girl’s night (coupled with greens of course, because it is me). Umberto’s delivered straight to our hotel door and threw in free garlic bread! Unfortunately, their pizza did not live up to standards and was rather mediocre.
